Loopa started out as a complex tracking spreadsheet. I shared it with a few friends, and they requested changes. After several iterations, the spreadsheet had become very large and very unfriendly — but also very powerful.
I was already working on mobieusCore, the SaaS community platform which I also designed and created, and thought that it would be really cool to create a module (initially called mobieusHealth) that did many of the same things that the tracking spreadsheet did. This idea quickly grew, and the program evolved dramatically to become the full-fledged health tracker that it is today.

He holds advanced degrees in computer science and business and previously served as a professor of cybersecurity. At Loopa he leads the vision for the app and how it is built.
