Steps and active minutes
Against a 10,000-step and 30-minute reference. Entered by hand, it is free; arriving automatically from Apple Health or Health Connect takes device sync, which is Premium.
Steps, active minutes and individual workouts, arriving from your watch or typed in by hand. What matters is what happens next: movement feeds back into the calories left in your day, so a long walk is not a fact you record and forget.

Steps, workouts and active minutes arrive from the watch or phone you already wear, and land in the same day as the food. Loopa treats them as one budget, because your body does.

A workout logged on its own, with its own duration and burn, rather than folded anonymously into a daily total. Add, edit or delete one without disturbing the rest of the day.
Exercise adds to the calories available today, the NIH puts physical activity at 20 to 30% of the body’s total daily energy output in Information about Energy Balance, and the dashboard says so in as many words rather than quietly changing a number you already read.
Any day inside the last 30 can be filled in. It is the same window every Loopa tracker uses, so there is one rule to remember rather than seven.
Two-way sync with Apple Health and Health Connect. Authorize once and sessions arrive on their own, even with the app closed.
Activity is one of the things a Loopa challenge can be scored on, so a group can compete on movement without anybody handing over their food diary.
Only if you want to. With Apple Health or Health Connect connected, steps, active minutes and sessions arrive on their own. Logging by hand exists for the times the watch was on the side, and for people who would rather not connect anything.
It changes what is left of it. Loopa adds the movement to today's available calories and shows the adjustment on the dashboard, so you can see why the number moved rather than wondering.
Any day within the last 30. Past that the entry lands on today instead, which is deliberate: a tracker that silently back-dates a month-old walk is worse than one that says no.
Activity you log yourself is free. Sessions, active minutes, and the calories they put back into your day. What needs Premium is having it arrive on its own: steps and workouts read from Apple Health, Health Connect, a Withings scale or an Oura ring all come in through device sync, which is Premium. Structured workout logging (exercises, sets, reps and weights) is Premium too.
Logging your own sessions is free, with food, weight, water, vitals and 30 days of trends. Device sync and the workout logger are Premium.
