Loopa Changelog

What changed in Loopa, who gets it, where it runs and whether you need to do anything. Loopa releases only.

52 releases from August 6, 2026 to September 16, 2026, condensed from the Mobieus release notes. A platform or plan is shown only where the release note names it.

Partners can include a year of Premium Family for their community

  • Web
  • Premium

A gym or club that partners with Loopa can give its members an included period of Loopa Premium Family, claimed on the web with the code the partner hands out. Claiming also brings the member into the partner's organization, with its private room and challenges.

Who gets it
Members of a partner's community who have its code
Plan
Premium Family, for the included period
What to do
Enter your partner's code on the web, then sign in or create an account.
Good to know
No payment method is taken and nothing renews. Afterwards you choose a plan in the app or stay on Loopa Basic. A partner sees group counts, never who joined or what anyone logs.
Included membership from a partner

Coaches confirm earnings and settings with Face ID or a fingerprint

Statements, payout details and organization settings sit behind a confirmation, and that confirmation is now the unlock already on your phone: Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or your device passcode. The periodic check that it is really you now happens in an in-app sheet with your passkey or password, and your session carries on.

Who gets it
Coaches and people who run an organization
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
An unlock lasts five minutes and covers the screen you opened. If your phone cannot show the prompt, Loopa says which thing is missing.
Coach on Loopa

One units setting, followed by every number in the app

Pick imperial or metric once and it reaches weight, goal weight, body measurements, fat and lean mass, training volume and records, fluids, Raw Logs, the bariatric weight card and the report you share with a clinician. Blood glucose follows it too, in mg/dL or mmol/L.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Choose imperial or metric in Settings.
Good to know
Switching never changes a figure you entered. Blood pressure (mmHg), heart rate (bpm), calories (kcal) and cardio distance (meters) stay the same in both systems.
Settings

Food search keeps pace while you type, and looks further when you press Search

Typing searches what Loopa already holds, including your saved foods and the reference catalog, so the list keeps up and works with no signal. Pressing Search reaches the brand and restaurant catalogs, the government reference tables and supplement labels.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Press Search when the first list does not have your food.
Good to know
An estimate from your own description is offered only after every source has been asked and none has the food.
Food search

Brand and restaurant results log in one tap

Everything search brings back from the brand and restaurant catalogs can go straight into your day: tap the row, set the portion, done. Each item carries the serving its own label states, so changing the portion scales calories and macros the way the label would.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
If an entry cannot be saved, the portion screen says so and why.
Food logging

Food search shows where each number came from

Loopa looks for a food in a set order and stops at the first source that knows it: its own records, then food databases, then government nutrient data, then supplement labels, and an AI estimate only when nothing else has it. A result whose numbers were estimated rather than measured is marked on the row.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Report a food whose numbers look wrong, and search will look for a better answer.
Good to know
Foods you have looked up before also work offline, and the screen says when it is showing them.
Where food data comes from

Set the size of a drink Loopa could not measure, fix a photo's pose, and see weight milestones

Any drink under Not counted on the hydration screen opens with a size to pick, and it goes straight into your total. A progress photo's pose can be changed as well as its date, and the gallery opens on a timeline. Crossing a weight milestone is now marked once, scaled to the size of the milestone.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Tap a drink under Not counted to give it a size.
Good to know
Loopa will not guess the size of a bottle, because a bottle can be anything from 8 oz to two liters. With reduced motion turned on, you keep the milestone message without the animation.
Counting all liquids

Low FODMAP takes your own tolerance for each group and each food

Each of the six FODMAP groups has a setting (no limit, small amounts, or leave it out), with fructans split four ways, and every screen follows it. You can also mark a single food as one you get on with or one that bothers you. Setup gains a short, optional digestive health section.

Who gets it
Members using Low FODMAP
What to do
Set your groups in Low FODMAP.
Good to know
Marking a food as one that bothers you applies straight away. Marking one as fine waits until you reach the personalization phase, so a setting cannot change a trial you are still running.
Low FODMAP

Barcode scans read the ingredient list, not only the calories

A scan now recognizes ingredients such as inulin, chicory root, high-fructose corn syrup, polyols, onion and garlic powder, and names the word that triggered it. A second food database brings more packaged products, ingredient lists, serving weights and recipes.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
Erythritol and natural flavors are flagged as worth a look rather than refused. If the second database is unavailable, search still returns everything else.
Barcode scanner

A new menu on loopahealth.app

  • Website

Features are grouped by what you want to do, protocols each have their own tile, and the coach, affiliate and organization programs sit side by side. On a phone or tablet the whole menu is a drawer with a search box.

Who gets it
Visitors to loopahealth.app
What to do
Nothing to do.
All features

Logged workouts fill the Move ring, and scanned drinks count as fluids

The Move ring on Today counts the time in a workout you logged, not only active minutes you type in. A bottled drink whose label states its size now credits its volume. A food in your diary can be copied into another meal from its own row.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
A drink whose volume cannot be confirmed still counts nothing until you set it, and your own answer always wins.
Counting all liquids

Low FODMAP, from restriction to your own tolerance profile

Check a meal before you eat it at the servings you are actually having, then bring foods back one FODMAP group at a time against your own baseline days. You finish with a tolerance profile of six groups and what your log showed about each.

Who gets it
Members who choose Low FODMAP
What to do
Start Low FODMAP from its screen when you choose to.
Good to know
The restriction phase is capped at six weeks. If the trial is not helping, Loopa says so and helps you stop. It fits alongside other diets and protocols without changing them.
Low FODMAP

Share a food with your family as you log it

  • iPhone
  • Android
  • Web
  • Premium

A Share with family switch on the food you are adding sends it to your Loopa Family Group at the same time, from search, a barcode, a saved meal or a meal photo. Any single food in your day can be shared on its own, and saved meals can be offered without logging them.

Who gets it
Family Group members with meal sharing on
Plan
Sending is part of Premium, which every Family Group member has through the group. Logging a shared meal is free.
What to do
Turn the switch on for the food you want to share. It starts off every time.
Good to know
A recipe that makes four is offered as one serving. Loopa tells you how many people it reached, or why it did not go.
Sharing a meal with your family

One person cooks, and everybody in the family logs it

  • iPhone
  • Android
  • Premium

A meal you logged can go to the rest of your Family Group with every food and portion. Each person logs it as it came, sets their own portion, day and meal, or changes it and passes their version on.

Who gets it
Family Group members
Plan
Sending is part of Premium through the group. Logging a shared meal is free.
What to do
Family meal sharing has one switch under Preferences, and it covers both sending and receiving.
Good to know
Only that meal travels, as a copy: not your weight, targets, the rest of your day or the photo. A meal nobody picks up stops being offered after a week.
Turning family meal sharing on or off

Each weight-management track lists what it includes

  • iPhone
  • Android
  • Premium

Choosing a bariatric or medical weight-management track tells you in a line what comes with it, and your hub names the parts a track does not carry instead of leaving them blank.

Who gets it
Members on a bariatric or medical weight-management track
Plan
Part of Loopa Premium
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
The staged diet, bariatric supplement schedule and follow-up lab calendar apply to surgical tracks. Anything your care team sends appears on your hub whichever track you are on.
Bariatric support

Meal History: every meal you have logged, ready to use again

Pick any day on a calendar to see what you ate grouped by meal, open a meal to its foods, and copy a meal or a single food onto another day or into a different meal. You can also build a new saved meal from foods across your history, and exclude a food from the place you are looking at it.

Who gets it
Everyone who logs food
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
A copy adds to the day you copy to and never replaces what is there. The original stays where it is.
Meal history

Bariatric and medical weight management, before a procedure and for the years after

A track for thirteen routes, from exploring surgery through each procedure, revision, non-surgical and endoscopic options, maintenance and weight recurrence. Surgical routes carry eating stages with a sip timer, a supplement schedule by nutrient and a lab calendar.

Who gets it
Members who choose a bariatric or medical weight-management track
What to do
Send your care team a single-use link if you want their protocol to replace the published reference.
Good to know
Nothing your care team sends takes effect until you review and accept it, and you can withdraw it. Loopa never moves you to the next stage on its own.
Bariatric support

Protocol logs plan your week and show what moved

After three full dose cycles with daily check-ins, Loopa shows which days after a dose your own logs put among your strongest and roughest, and places heavy sessions, protein-dense days and mobility around them. A weekly lean-mass protection score and protein-gap suggestions sit on the GLP-1, testosterone therapy and hormone therapy screens.

Who gets it
Members on a medication protocol
What to do
Log doses and daily check-ins; the pattern appears once there is enough.
Good to know
It describes what you logged and stops there. Dose days are calendar markers and are never moved, and before three cycles it says it is still learning.
Your week, around your cycle

Protocol support for GLP-1, testosterone therapy, hormone therapy and peptides

Switch on a protocol and Loopa shapes goals around it: a GLP-1 protocol raises protein and makes calories a floor, testosterone therapy weights training toward resistance work, hormone therapy adds impact work and a sleep card. Doses log in a tap with an injection-site map, alongside symptoms, wellbeing sliders and labs.

Who gets it
Members on one of those therapies
What to do
Turn on the protocol you are on.
Good to know
Lab results are kept exactly as entered, shown against no reference ranges. Reminders name the protocol, not the compound.
Protocols

Choose which sections appear on Trends

  • Premium

Turn off any Trends section you do not use and the rest keep their order. Your choice is saved to your account, and a hidden section is not loaded at all.

Who gets it
Premium members
Plan

What to do
You, then Preferences, then Customize Trends.
Good to know
New sections arrive switched on for everyone, and every section is listed so you can see what is there.
Understanding your trends

Activity, Fasting and Measurements on Trends for Android

  • Android

Android Trends gains Activity (steps, active minutes and burn), Fasting (completed fasts, average and longest window) and Measurements, in the same order as on iPhone, with one name per chart on both phones.

Loopa launches on the App Store

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Apple Watch
  • Basic and Premium

Loopa Health & Fitness went live for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, with one account across all three. Everyone who already had an account keeps Loopa Premium Family for life. Loopa Basic became the free tier for new members.

Who gets it
Everyone
Plan
Loopa Basic is free. Premium is $12.99 a month or $69.99 a year; Premium Family covers up to six people at $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year.
What to do
Nothing to do if you already had an account.
Good to know
At launch, Android installed directly from loopahealth.app while its Google Play listing was in review.

Drinks count everywhere they are logged, and unmeasured ones are listed

A drink logged with a size from the food database now reaches your water ring and water screen as well as your fluid breakdown. A drink with no amount appears under Not counted instead of being dropped.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
Nothing is guessed. A drink nobody measured stays out of your total.

A tour that points at the real buttons

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Android
  • Web

After setup, an eleven-step tour spotlights one real control at a time and waits for you to tap it: the rings, where food, water, activity and training go, the coach, your trends, goals and devices.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Run it again any time from App tour, under Help on the You tab.
Good to know
Anything you log during it is a real entry. Skip for now does not ask again, and stopping keeps your place.

Five tabs: Health, Progress, Coach, Community and You

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Android
  • Web

Health is your log, Progress gathers what it adds up to, Coach puts Help Me, the Healthy Habit Helper and your own coach together, Community holds the feed, forums and messages, and You is your account. Your pantry, reminders, reporting a food, deleting anything you logged and progress photos are free.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do. Nothing was removed.
Good to know
Tapping a Premium feature opens what it includes and what it costs.
The app layout and tabs

Your last 20 foods, one tap each

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Android
  • Web

The last 20 foods you logged wait on the Food screen, ordered by when you last ate each one. Tap one and it logs exactly as before into the meal you have selected. Screen names across the app now match the rows that open them.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
Importing history from another app does not push this morning's foods down the list.
Logging food

A fast of a day or longer sets that day's calorie target to zero

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Android
  • Web

A fast planned for a full day or longer clears the day's calorie target everywhere it appears, and ending the fast brings the target back. Pressing the tab you are on returns it to its top.

Who gets it
Everyone who fasts
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
16:8, 18:6, 20:4 and OMAD keep their target, because each has a meal in it.
Fasting

Invite codes in one format, and a readable column on iPad

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Android
  • Web

Join codes read as ABCD-EFGH everywhere and work typed with or without the dash, in any case. On iPad every screen keeps a readable column at every width, in both orientations and in Split View.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do. Older codes still work.
Joining an organization

Easier to read, and every log and delete confirms what happened

Values on INR, blood-pressure and workout cards read at full strength, long names end with an ellipsis, and the app opens with no flash of a different color. Every log and delete tells you what happened, and messages keep your draft until it has actually sent.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.

Organizations: start a group, invite people and run a challenge

  • Premium

Start an organization with a name, description and color, invite people with a join code or link, and run challenges on measures such as workouts, active minutes, steps, water or completed fasts. Each organization has a private room readable only by its members.

Who gets it
Anyone can join; creating one needs Premium
Plan
Creating an organization is part of Loopa Premium. Joining, posting, competing and leaderboards are free.
What to do
Rotate a join code whenever it has traveled further than you meant.
Good to know
Entering a challenge shares exactly one number, your total for that measure over those dates.
Organizations

Refer a friend, and collect badges for it

Every account has an invite code on Refer a Friend, with how many friends have joined and how far you are from the next of nine badges.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Send the invite from Refer a Friend.
Good to know
A friend counts once they confirm their email and finish setup. There is no credit, discount or cash, and Loopa never reads your contacts.
Refer a friend

Review every item in a meal photo before it is logged

  • Premium

A photo comes back as a list of foods, each with its own portion and calories. Change a portion, rename or swap a food, remove one or add what the photo missed, and nothing reaches your log until you tap Log meal.

Who gets it
Premium members
Plan
Part of Loopa Premium
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
Figures read from a photo are estimates you confirm, and a line Loopa is less sure about is marked.
Editing what Loopa found in your meal photo

Count all liquids, with Focus targets inside the total

  • Premium

Turn on Count all liquids and coffee, tea, milk, juice, soda, sports drinks and broth count toward your daily goal wherever you logged them. The ring says Fluids or Water depending on the setting, and a breakdown shows what you drank.

Who gets it
Everyone
Plan
Focus targets are part of Loopa Premium.
What to do
Turn on Count all liquids in health settings.
Good to know
Turning it off returns the exact plain-water number you had.
Counting all liquids

Join your gym with a code, and show your coach one workout

Enter your organization's join code to reach its private room and challenges. You can also pick a single session to show your coach, and a coach can recommend a routine or point at a session worth repeating for you to accept or decline.

Who gets it
Members of an organization, and members with a coach
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
Nothing you log reaches an organization. You have one coach at a time, and joining a new coach ends the previous relationship.
Sharing a workout with your coach

Set your own protein target, and fasts up to 40 days

The protein target has no upper limit; above 1.2 g per pound of goal weight a short health notice appears first. Fasting presets add 24 hours, 48 hours, 3 days and 7 days, and a custom fast can run to 40 days.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Accepted notices are listed under Your Data, where you can withdraw them.
Good to know
A fast of 48 hours or more shows a health notice first and keeps a hydration and electrolyte reminder on screen.

Water confirms the amount, and the Nutrients screen shows your micronutrients

Adding water from the plus button confirms the amount on screen and updates every water total you have open. The Nutrients screen loads your fifteen micronutrients, the completeness ring and the estimate button.

A second opinion on your supplements and medications

On Supplements and Meds, mobieusAI reads your supplements, medications and health context together and raises anything worth asking a pharmacist or clinician about, including likely misspellings. It sits beside the interaction alerts that quote FDA labeling, and the page says which is which.

Who gets it
Everyone who lists supplements or medications
What to do
Loopa shows exactly what it sends the first time, and you can switch it off under Your Data.
Good to know
It is generated, may not give the same answer twice and cannot show a source. It never names a dose, diagnoses, or calls a combination safe.
Supplement second opinion

Loopa Basic: the free tier, and a clear line around Premium

  • Basic and Premium

Loopa Basic includes food logging every way in, weight, water, vitals, micronutrients, saved meals, manual activity, the setup interview and plan, Easy Switch, the whole community and 30 days of history and trends. Workouts, fasting, cycle tracking, H³ and device sync are Premium.

Who gets it
Everyone
Plan
Loopa Basic is free; the features named above are Premium.
What to do
Nothing to do. Tapping a Premium feature shows what it includes and what it costs.
Good to know
Describing a meal in plain words is free up to ten a day and nutrient estimates up to five a day. Search, barcode and manual entry are never limited.
Free vs Premium

Trends, medication interaction alerts and a report for your clinician

Trends reads your averages, smoothed weight, nutrient adequacy and logging consistency against your own baseline. Medications you add are checked against FDA-approved labeling for interactions with other medications, supplements, food, alcohol and caffeine. A report for your clinician can be built from a window you choose.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Nothing to do.
Good to know
Supplement-to-supplement combinations are not covered by the labeling source. Loopa never tells you to start, stop or change a dose.

Faster food search, and a guide for Hume and other scales

Food search returns in a few hundredths of a second. A new Hume Health & Others entry shows how any device that writes to Apple Health or Health Connect reaches Loopa.

Who gets it
Everyone
What to do
Turn on your device's Apple Health or Health Connect writing, then point Loopa at it.
Good to know
A workout that cannot sync when you finish it waits on your phone until it can.

Log by the set, with last time's numbers waiting in the fields and sets marked as warmup, working, drop, failure or AMRAP. Each of the 453 exercises carries its muscles, equipment, movement pattern and a form cue. Six kinds of personal record are found for you, and programs sit on a calendar.

About the changelog

Why is not every fix listed?

The changelog records the additions and changes that alter what you can do in Loopa. Small fixes and behind-the-scenes work are left out, the same way the Mobieus release notes it is condensed from leave them out.

How do I get the latest version?

On iPhone and iPad, update Loopa from the App Store. On Android, update from Google Play. The web app is always the current version when you reload it.

Where can I read how a feature works?

Most entries link to the feature page or the Knowledge Base article that explains it. Loopa Support groups those articles by topic.
