One plan, one list, one household

A meal plan that ends in one shopping list.

One to seven days, built against the targets your setup interview calculated, planned around the food already in your kitchen, and screened against anything you never eat.

Premium · The Family plan covers up to six people, so one plan feeds the household

How the planner works

Decide once, on Sunday.

Instead of deciding what is for dinner at six every night, the planner does the deciding while you are looking at the week, and turns the answer into something you can shop from.

Meal planner

One to seven days, against your numbers

Tell it how many days you want and it plans them against your calorie and macro targets, the ones calculated from your own height, weight, age, activity and goal during setup, not a template with your name pasted in. Do not like a meal? Swap it, and the rest of the day rebalances around the swap.

Premium
  • One to seven days at a time
  • Planned against your calculated targets, not a generic diet
  • Swap any meal and the day re-balances
  • Works for fat loss, muscle gain or maintenance

My Pantry

It plans around what you already have

My Pantry is the list of what is actually in your kitchen. The planner leans on it, so a week’s plan is mostly food you own plus a short list of what you don’t. Rather than nine new ingredients you buy once, use a third of, and throw away in a fortnight.

Premium
  • Tell it what is in the cupboard and the freezer
  • Plans lean on what you own before they suggest a shop
  • Less waste, and a shorter list at the end of it

Shopping list

Everything collapses into one list

A seven-day plan is not seven shopping lists. Quantities are added up across the whole plan, so three meals that each want an onion ask you for three onions once. Anything already in My Pantry is left off it.

Premium
  • One combined list for the whole plan
  • Quantities summed across every meal
  • Pantry items excluded automatically
  • One list per household, not one per person

Never-eat list

The allergen guard removes it before you see it

Put an allergen or an ingredient on your never-eat list and it stops appearing. Not flagged with a warning triangle you have to notice. Removed, from meal plans and restaurant suggestions alike, before the suggestion reaches you. There is nothing to spot and nothing to decline.

Premium
  • Filtered out at the source, not warned about
  • Applies to meal plans and Eating Out equally
  • Allergens, intolerances, or food you simply refuse to eat
  • Per person. Each account has its own list

Eating Out

Photograph the menu in front of you

Name the restaurant, or take a picture of the menu on the table, and Loopa ranks what is on it against the day you have actually had, not against a generic 2,000-calorie day. If you already ate most of your calories at lunch, the ranking knows. One tap logs whatever you ordered.

Premium
  • Name a restaurant, or photograph a menu you are holding
  • Ranked on what is left of today, not a generic target
  • Your never-eat list is applied to the ranking
  • One tap to log the thing you ordered

Meal planning is Premium in Loopa, and it is Premium in every comparable app we checked. The difference is what it costs and how many people it covers. Ours is $12.99 a month for one, or $19.99 for a household of up to six. Why that matters for a meal planner.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What people ask before they let an app plan their week.

Does the meal planner cost extra?

No. It is part of Loopa Premium at $12.99 a month or $69.99 a year, with nothing to buy on top. If more than one person eats out of the kitchen, Loopa Premium Family covers up to six for $119.99 a year, so a household is not paying per person for a planner whose output is a single shared shopping list.

Do I have to follow the plan exactly?

No. It is a plan, not a prescription. Swap any meal for another and the rest of the day rebalances; eat something else entirely and just log it. Nothing scolds you and nothing resets.

Can I exclude foods I don’t eat?

Yes, and it goes further than exclusion from a list. Anything on your never-eat list is removed from suggestions before you see them, in meal plans and in restaurant picks alike, so there is no warning to notice and nothing to decline. It works for allergens, intolerances and plain dislikes.

Does it know what is in my kitchen?

If you tell it. My Pantry is a list of what you actually have, and the planner leans on it before suggesting a shop, so a week’s plan is mostly food you own plus a short top-up list.

Can I generate a shopping list from the plan?

That is the point of it. A plan of any length collapses into one combined list with quantities summed across every meal, and anything already in My Pantry left off. One list for the household, not one per person.

What is Eating Out?

A way to handle a restaurant without guessing. Name the place or photograph the menu in front of you, and Loopa ranks the actual items against what is left of your day, your remaining calories and macros, not a generic target, with your never-eat list already applied. One tap logs what you ordered.

Can it plan for keto, high protein or low carb?

The planner builds against whatever calorie and macro split your targets are set to, so adjusting the macro split changes what it plans. It is targets-first rather than a menu of named diets.
