Free is actually free.
Every feature in Loopa, in one table, with a clear mark against which tier it is in. Nothing here is a 14-day tease, and nothing you have logged is ever taken away.
Free forever · Premium $12.99/mo or $69.99/yr · Family, up to six, $119.99/yr

Loopa Basic is free, and stays free. No card, no trial clock and no daily cap on logging. Premium is the optional subscription below, and one Family plan covers up to six people. How that works.
Loopa Basic
$0 / forever
No card. No trial clock. No ads. No feature that stops working on day 15. Basic is built to be enough on its own. You can use Loopa every day without ever paying us.
- Unlimited meals a day: no cap, no counter, no "3 of 5 used", log everything you eat
- Log it however suits you: search the verified food database, scan a barcode, or enter it by hand, no limit, ever. Prefer talking or typing in plain words? AI does the work, up to 10 times a day
- Weight tracking with a 30-day trend
- Water and fluid tracking with a 30-day trend, and the option to count every liquid you log toward your goal
- The full setup interview and your personalized plan, your targets, calculated for you
- The community: forums, member profiles, friends, the activity feed, events and the Knowledge Base
- Vitals: blood pressure, glucose, INR, SpO2 and temperature, encrypted per member
- Activity logging: sessions and active minutes you enter yourself, with the calories folded back into your day
- Micronutrients: fifteen of them against the Recommended Dietary Allowances in the Institute of Medicine Dietary Reference Intake tables, estimated from what you actually logged
- A rolling 30 days of food, weight and water history
- Saved meals: build a meal once, log the whole thing in one tap afterwards
- Easy Switch: import your history from another tracker, free
- AI where it helps, with a daily limit: describe a meal in your own words up to 10 times a day, and get up to 5 nutrient estimates a day. Search, barcode and manual entry are never limited, so you can always log everything you eat
- No ads, and no card on file
Loopa Premium
$12.99 / month
or $69.99 a year, about $5.83 a month. Cancel any time.
Covers one person. Loopa Premium Family covers up to six for $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year.
- Loopa Premium Family: $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year gives everything below to up to six people, through a Loopa Family Group on Android and iPhone alike. Everyone keeps their own private account, and the household can share one pantry
- AI meal planning around your macros: 1 to 7 days, built against your targets and the foods you never eat, ending in one combined shopping list
- “What should I eat?”: three meal ideas sized to the calories and macros you have left right now, built around what is in your kitchen, screened against your never-eat list, with a real recipe behind each one
- My Pantry: plan and shop around what is already in your kitchen instead of buying it twice
- Photo food logging: snap the plate instead of typing it
- The never-eat allergen guard: anything flagged as containing something on your list is gone before you see it, in restaurant picks and meal plans alike
- Eating Out: name the restaurant or photograph the menu and get orders ranked against the day you have actually had
- A coach that has read your own log: ask it anything, get your day analyzed, and see the patterns behind your best and worst weeks
- H³, the AI Healthy Habit Helper: habits, micro-goals and reminders plotted against the median 66-day automaticity curve from Lally and colleagues (2010), not a streak you can break
- A weight forecast built on your own numbers: it decelerates as you go, because expenditure falls and appetite rises as you get lighter (Hall and Kahan (2018)); it shows a plateau when the data says plateau; and it refuses a date faster than the NHS 1–2 lb a week, plus What If, to try a change before you make it
- Workouts: sets, reps, weight and RPE against 453 exercises, six kinds of personal record found for you, your own routines, multi-week programs and the volume and strength analytics, on your own or with a coach, at no extra cost
- Cycle tracking: phase, prediction and symptoms, sitting beside the food and the weight that explain them
- Supplements: what you take, when you took it, and what is actually in it
- Fasting, measurements and progress photos: the trackers a calorie app usually charges extra for or skips
- Device sync: Apple Health and Health Connect, plus Withings scales, Oura rings and iHealth blood pressure and glucose meters, each connected once and syncing on their own
- Live chat rooms and direct messages: plus the members-only Premium forum, the leaderboard and share cards
- Full history, reports and CSV/PDF export: beyond the free rolling 30 days
- Your own quick button: choose which of the thirteen one-tap actions appear when you tap it, saved to your account so every device you sign in on is set up the same way
The whole thing, in one table.
Sixty-five rows. If something is not on this list, ask us and we will add it rather than leave you guessing.

Premium is a subscription bought inside the app. You never need it to log a meal. Stopping it never deletes anything, your history stays on your account and reappears in full if you subscribe again. Premium is billed through the App Store on iPhone and iPad, so you start, manage and cancel it in your Apple account.
Questions about the two tiers
The ones worth answering before you install anything.
Is Loopa free, or is it a trial?
Free, and not a trial. There is no countdown, no card, no ads and no feature that stops working on day 15. Food and macro logging, weight, water, the setup interview that calculates your targets and the whole community are free permanently, with a rolling 30 days of history.
How many meals a day can I log for free?
As many as you eat. Loopa does not cap the free tier at a number of meals.
What is the single biggest thing Premium adds?
Everything that does work for you rather than records it. The meal planner that ends in a shopping list, photo logging, the coach that has read your log, workouts, fasting, device sync, and history older than a month. Vitals, micronutrients and the activity you log yourself are free. The free tier is a genuinely usable tracker; Premium is the part that thinks.
Do I lose my data if I stop paying?
No. Your account and everything in it stay put and you carry on with the free features. Nothing is deleted, and if you resubscribe later every chart extends back to your first entry, the history was never removed, just hidden behind the rolling 30-day window.
Can I share Premium with my family?
Yes, on Loopa Premium Family, $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year for up to six people, through a Loopa Family Group that works on Android as well as iPhone. The single-person plan covers one person. The full detail is here.
Is the yearly plan cheaper?
$69.99 a year against $12.99 a month works out at about $5.83 a month, so yes. Roughly 55% less than paying monthly. The Family plan saves the same way: $119.99 a year against $19.99 a month.
Can I try Premium before I pay?
You do not have to. Loopa Basic is free with no time limit, so you can log every meal, weight, water reading and vital indefinitely without ever subscribing. Premium is billed through the App Store on iPhone and iPad, so you can start it, manage it and cancel it in your Apple account whenever you like.

It is a real tracker, not a demo. Upgrade if and when Premium earns it.
