Noom's plans are auto-renewing and billed up front for the whole term, which is their own wording: the $17.42 a month often quoted is the average cost of the $209 twelve-month plan, not a monthly charge. Noom also states the plan is customised by the questionnaire at sign-up, so your offer may differ. Loopa's prices are the ones in App Store Connect and Google Play.

Each is auto-renewing and billed up front, so the twelve-month plan is $209 taken at once, not $17.42 charged monthly. Is there a free tier?
Loopa has one: food, weight and water logging with barcode scanning, no ads and no daily cap, plus a rolling 30 days of trends, free with no card. Noom's cost page describes a seven-day trial and no free tier.
What about a household?
Loopa Premium Family covers up to six people for $119.99 a year, about $20 each. Noom's cost page publishes no family or multi-person plan, so four people on their twelve-month plan is four subscriptions at $209, or $836 a year.
Are they even the same kind of product?
No, and that is the one thing worth saying about all of the above. Noom sells a psychology-led behavior-change course with human coaching, and now medication programs alongside it. Loopa is a tracker with an optional human coach. If a structured curriculum is what you are buying, that is genuinely theirs and the price difference is not the whole story.
