Turn the health and fitness information you already logged into a readable summary for your doctor, dietitian, pharmacist or care team, then share it through a link you control.
No clinician account. No clinician app. No clinic subscription.
Using the prescriber form does not give the prescriber access to your existing Loopa record.
The report workflow

What your clinician sees first
Laid out in the order it is read
A clinician can take in the last few months in a couple of minutes, because the report answers their first question first: how much of this is real data.
Loopa health summaryPDF
1
How complete the log is
Before a single average: how many days were fully logged (3 or more meals), partly logged and not logged at all. Every average uses fully logged days only.
An average means more when your clinician can see how much data produced it.
2
The big picture
Average calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat and fiber; your smoothed weight trend and its rate of change; how many days a week you logged; which kinds of data exist for the period; and nutrients against the reference for your age and sex.
On the web you choose which of these go in.
3
Medications and supplements
Your current list, and the interaction alerts Loopa found for it against FDA product labeling, checked when the report is built. Items Loopa could not match are listed as not checked, and supplement-to-supplement combinations are not covered. Doses logged are shown against doses expected. How medication tracking works
4
The daily detail
A day-by-day table: intake, weight, water, active minutes, fasting hours and doses. A blank cell means nothing was recorded. Loopa never fills a gap with an estimate.
The link is how somebody with no Loopa account reads your report, so every control on it is a way to limit that.
The link has an expiration date

Up to 90days, for a link made on the web

Expires
Every link has an end date
Links made in the app last 7 days. On the web you choose 7, 14, 30 or 90 days. After that the link stops working.
Revocable
Stop access whenever you want
Revoking removes the shared report file as well as disabling the link. Your own Loopa history is untouched.
Optional passcode
Sent by a different route
Set a passcode on the web and send it separately, so one forwarded message is not enough to open the report.
Access history
See that the link was opened
Each report shows how many times its link has been opened, your own opens included. It never identifies who opened it.
In the app
Your reports, and whether they were opened
Every report you create stays in your list. A live one shows its expiry and how many times its link has been opened. A revoked one says its link no longer works and its file has been deleted.
A share link is a key
Anyone who has an unexpired, unrevoked report link can open the report, unless you also set a passcode. That is what lets you hand it to a clinician with no Loopa account, and it is why Loopa lets you:
Limit the lifetimeAdd a passcodeRevoke itSee that it was opened
How the report is stored
The report is stored encrypted for the duration of the share, with a key unique to your account, outside anything the web serves. It is decrypted in memory for one response, and only after the link, its expiry, its revocation and any passcode check out. The link carries 256 bits of randomness, so there is no list to browse and no way to guess one. Revoking deletes the stored files; an expired link stops working, and revoking it deletes the file too. Loopa keeps only a one-way hash of the network address that opens a link. What Loopa can see.
For supported protocols
Let your prescriber send the plan back
On a protocol, Loopa shows published guidance until your prescriber says otherwise. A prescriber protocol link is how they say it, without an account. In the app: Health, Protocols, open the protocol, then Your prescriber.
1
Create a prescriber link
Choose the protocol and set the required passcode, at least 6 characters. The link lasts 7 days unless you choose otherwise, up to 30 days.
2
Send the link and passcode separately
You deliver both. The link is shown to you once, and Loopa does not email your prescriber.
3
Your prescriber fills in the form
Their name or practice, what they prescribed with each dose as they wrote it, the route and schedule, then monitoring, cautions for you, and what to do if a dose is missed.
4
You review it
It waits under Waiting for you on the Your prescriber screen. You see what it covers, then accept or decline.

In the app
For GLP-1, testosterone, hormone therapy and peptide protocols
Pick the protocol, set the passcode and choose how long the link lasts. Send the link straight away and keep the passcode for a different message.
Bariatric and medical weight-management teams use a structured form of their own, so a bariatric prescriber link is created on the web.

Withdraw a link you no longer need
The link is shown once and cannot be shown again
What your prescriber sees
One form, and nothing of yours
This is the whole page a prescriber works with: a form asking for the protocol they prescribed, in their own words, with no picker and no dose checking. It shows them nothing from your record.
Their name or practice
What they prescribed: the medicine, the dose as they wrote it, the route and schedule
Monitoring, cautions for you, and what to do if a dose is missed
Send to my patient, once
One-way by design
Their form cannot browse your record
A prescriber protocol link lets your prescriber record the protocol they prescribed. The page they open is a blank form: nothing you have logged appears on it.
A write link is not a patient portal.
Your food diary
Your weight history
Your activity and workouts
Your symptoms and check-ins
Your lab history
Your notes
Your medication list
Any other private tracking
Single use
One submission. Then it closes.
Their first submission with something in it spends the link. Opening it, a wrong passcode or an empty form does not use it up. What they sent stays with you to review.
Required passcode
Never optional on this link
A link that can send a protocol into your app needs more than the link on its own.
Your decision
Decline without opening
A submission you do not recognize can be declined straight from Waiting for you.
Nothing changes until you accept
You see what it covers before anything changes
A submission waits for you. Opening it shows what accepting would do, and only then do you choose.
The review
Accept or decline, with the change in front of you
Loopa shows who it is from and what it would change before it takes effect.
For GLP-1, testosterone, hormone therapy and peptide protocols: the areas it covers, from what you take and when, cautions for you, monitoring and a missed dose
For bariatric: each section marked Theirs or Published, with every stage, supplement line and blood test
A bariatric protocol for a different procedure cannot be accepted
Accepting replaces an earlier accepted protocol of the same type
Shown as theirs
Care-team plans never look like published guidance
A bariatric care team’s rows are labeled “Your care team's protocol”; anything they left blank stays “Reference guideline”. For a medication protocol, Loopa stops showing published guidance for what your prescriber covered and tells you they have covered it.
Provenance
Their words stay their words
You cannot rewrite an accepted protocol and leave it labeled as theirs. You can stop using their plan or delete the record, and Loopa returns to the published guidance.
For the appointment itself
Appointment summary
A separate tool from the report link: a file for the conversation, built from a protocol you already track.
Your questions at the top
Write the question when you think of it
Anywhere you record a symptom, a check-in or a lab result, you can write a question for your prescriber. The summary puts those questions first, in the order you asked them, followed by the protocol history for the dates you choose.
It is a file you generate and carry with you. Loopa keeps no copy and it has no link, so it is separate from the expiring clinician share report.

Provenance
Your record, clearly labeled as yours
Your Loopa report is your record of what you logged
Generated from what you logged in Loopa.
Useful as context for a conversation with your care team.
Not verified by a clinician, and it says so on the page.
Not a diagnosis, and not a medical record.
That is provenance, not a caveat: your clinician knows exactly where every number came from.
Estimates are labeled
Not every number is equally certain
Loopa tells these kinds of number apart, and the report’s appendix names the method behind each computed figure.
MeasuredA device recorded it and Loopa read it.
You entered itYou typed or picked it. Loopa keeps it exactly as you gave it.
From a product recordRead off a packet or a published database entry.
EstimatedIntake comes from your food entries and expenditure from an equation. Both are estimates, and the report says so.
Published guidanceA figure from published health guidance, with the source named.
Loopa records and organizes information. It does not recommend medication doses, titration, timing changes or treatment decisions. When a care team’s protocol appears, Loopa is displaying what the care team submitted.
They need the link, the passcode where one applies, and a web browser. No Loopa account or subscription is required for the recipient to open a member-created report or to use a supported prescriber form.

FAQ
Questions about Clinician Share
The ones people ask before they send anything.
Does my clinician need Loopa?
No. A report opens from its link in an ordinary web browser, and a prescriber protocol link opens a plain web form. The person you send either one to needs no Loopa account, app or subscription.
What exactly can my clinician see?
Only what you send. A clinician share report contains the period you chose and, on the web, the sections you chose. A prescriber sees a blank protocol form and nothing from your record.
Can they browse my Loopa account?
No. Neither link signs anybody in to anything, and neither page leads anywhere else in your account.
How long does a report link work?
A link made in the app lasts 7 days. On the web you choose 7, 14, 30 or 90 days. After that the link stops working.
Can I revoke it?
Yes, at any moment while your Premium is active. Revoking switches the link off and deletes the stored report file, so there is nothing left behind it to open.
Does letting a link expire delete the report?
It stops the link working. To delete the stored file as well, revoke the link.
Does revoking delete my original Loopa data?
No. It removes the shared report and the access to it. Your own history, everything the report was built from, stays exactly where it was.
Can I add a passcode to a report link?
Yes, when you create the report on the web. Send the link and the passcode by different routes. Links made in the app have no passcode.
Does the prescriber link require a passcode?
Always. You choose one of at least 6 characters when you create the link, and the form will not open without it.
Can a prescriber use the link more than once?
No. Their first submission with something in it spends the link. Opening it, a wrong passcode or an empty form does not use it up.
Where do I find what my prescriber sent?
On the Your prescriber screen, under Waiting for you. Open it to review, then accept or decline.
Does Loopa apply their instructions automatically?
No. Nothing changes until you accept. Declining changes nothing at all.
What changes when I accept a protocol?
For GLP-1, testosterone, hormone therapy and peptide protocols, Loopa stops showing published guidance for the areas your prescriber covered and tells you they have covered them. For a bariatric protocol, your care team’s stages, supplement lines and blood tests are shown, labeled “Your care team's protocol”, and anything they left blank stays published.
Can I edit what my care team sent?
No, so that what Loopa treats as theirs stays theirs. You can stop using their plan or delete the record, and Loopa goes back to the published guidance.
Does my prescriber see my food or weight when filling in the form?
No. The form is one-way. It asks for their protocol and shows them nothing of yours.
Is the report a medical record?
No. It is your own record of what you logged, organized so a clinician can read it quickly. It says so on the page: generated from data you entered, not verified by a clinician, and not a diagnosis. That tells them where every number came from, which is what makes it useful context.
Does Loopa interpret my labs?
No. Where lab values appear, in the appointment summary, they are exactly as you entered them. Loopa does not diagnose or interpret a result.
Can I print the report?
Yes. The clinician share report and the appointment summary are PDFs, so they print like any other document.
Does Loopa email my clinician?
No. Loopa never emails a report or a prescriber link. You decide where each one goes.
Is this available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Reports (30, 90 or 180 days) and prescriber links for GLP-1, testosterone, hormone therapy and peptide protocols work on iPhone, Android and the web. A report’s sections, note, passcode and link lifetime, and a bariatric prescriber link, are set on the web.
Does Clinician Share require Premium?
Yes for you: clinician share reports, prescriber protocol links and appointment summaries are part of Loopa Premium. The person you send a link to needs no account or subscription.
Generate a report from what you already tracked, share it through a link you control, or use a supported prescriber workflow to bring your care team’s plan back into Loopa. Your clinician needs no Loopa account.
